Who we are

Maui Beach Adventures ("we", "us") operates mauibeachadventures.com and rents water-sports equipment on Maui, Hawaii. Questions about this policy can be sent to reservation@mauibeachadventures.com or 808-940-1014.

Information we collect

• Booking details — name, email, phone, rental dates, delivery location, and the equipment you reserve.
• Safety waiver information — the signature, acknowledgments, and swimming-ability answers you provide before a ride.
• Email signups — the email address you submit to receive offers and your discount code.
• Site usage — pages viewed, clicks, and referral or campaign links used, so we can understand which promotions work.
• Connected social accounts (admin only) — when our staff connect a Facebook Page or Instagram Business account, we store the page/account identifiers and access tokens needed to publish our own marketing posts. We do not collect personal data from visitors' social accounts.

How we use information

We use information to confirm and fulfill rentals, arrange delivery and pickup, keep required waiver records, respond to inquiries, send offers you asked for, publish our own marketing content to our social channels, and measure how our website and campaigns perform. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

We share only what is needed with providers that help us operate: our booking engine (FareHarbor), our hosting and database platform, payment processors, email and SMS delivery services, and Meta's Facebook and Instagram APIs for publishing our marketing posts. Each provider handles the data under its own terms.

Retention

Booking and waiver records are kept as long as needed for our business and legal recordkeeping. Marketing email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time, ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. See our data deletion page for how to make a deletion request.

Children

Our site is not directed to children under 13. Minors participating in a rental are booked and signed for by a parent or legal guardian.

Changes

If we update this policy we will change the date above and post the new version on this page.
